In short, this site sets no tracking cookies, runs no analytics and no advertising. It only holds data you type in yourself.

What is stored on your device

The player remembers the last track you played and the shop remembers your bag, both in your browser’s local storage. That data never leaves your device and is not readable by us. Clearing your browser data removes it.

What you send us

If you use a contact form, your name, email address and message are emailed to us so we can answer. If you join the mailing list, your email address is stored with our email provider until you unsubscribe. If you buy something, the payment and shipping details go to our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.

Legal bases: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for orders and enquiries, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent) for the mailing list.

Who processes data for us

• Cloudflare Pages: Hosting and content delivery. EU / global edge. Serving the website.
• Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.: Card payments and checkout. Ireland / EU. Taking shop orders.
• Resend: Contact form email and the mailing list. EU region. Replying to you and sending updates.
• Bandsintown: Show listings. US. The Shows section loads dates from their public API.
• YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.): Video playback. EU / US. Videos load only after you press play.
• Spotify / Apple: 30-second track previews. EU / US. The player streams the clip you press play on.

Embedded videos load nothing from YouTube until you press play. Show dates are fetched from Bandsintown when you scroll to that section, which means your IP address reaches their servers at that point.

How long we keep it

Enquiries: until the conversation is finished and any legal retention period has passed. Orders: as long as tax law requires. Mailing list: until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to info@pijusmusic.com. You can also complain to a supervisory authority. In Berlin that is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.

Server logs

Our host records standard request logs (IP address, time, page requested, user agent) for security and to keep the site running. These are kept briefly and are not combined with anything else.
